Location
Our lawns are located to the side of The Bundanoon Club in Erith St Bundanoon. The Croquet Club is part of the Bundanoon Club, all members are required to also be members of The Bundanoon Club. Further information can be found by visiting the Club website www.bundanoonclub.com
Playing times
Members play on Thursday and Sunday afternoons from 1pm, this may drop back to 2pm in summer if the weather warms up, members will be notified via email. Interested? Come along and give croquet a try.
A draw is done prior to the commencement of games, this provides a mixing of partners, opponents and skill levels.
Our History
Starting in 1992, six founding members began to construct the Bundanoon croquet lawn, playing on the adjourning bowling green until the croquet lawns completion in the spring of 1992. The traditional game of Association croquet was played in the early years. From 2004 to 2013 our popular Autumn Carnival attracted players from across NSW and beyond.
In 2009, the simpler game of Golf Croquet was trialed and this move led to a tripling of our membership. The larger numbers prompted The Bundanoon Club to allow us to secure a second lawn. In 2019 both lawns were renovated to a high standard and in 2020 both were laser levelled using a grant from Wingecaribee Shire Council.
